Lucy learnt to row at Cantabrigian RC, moving to Cambridge 99 RC shortly after, where she continues to coach during the holidays. She rowed for Durham University Boat Club during her first two years at university, where she studies English Literature and Classics. She began writing previews for Junior Rowing News in 2017, and has recently joined the JRN Opinions Team.
